Victim, a 4 line story and 2 line guess.
The other day I was walking through the Cemetery, I noticed a young lady near the tomb kneeling down holding her new born baby.
Looking at the tomb she said “John see, it’s a boy as you wished, our baby, he looks like you , Mama calls him Peter Miller and for me he is John Junior “
I saw a piece of marble on the tomb chiseled:
Captain. John Miller
Born – 08/12/1978
Died – 02/02/2010
I realized he was a war/oil victim of Iraq.
(Some times I ask myself who is the Victim:The Soldier…,The Young Lady…,The Baby…Or…,I am still in search for an answer).
Wow... Clearly shows you sentiments on the Iraq war.
ReplyDeleteHi! I think the main victim is the dead guy. His wife and son are the secondary victims for they will suffer the demise of a loved one. They will suffer financial difficulties, emotional stress and the chance of sharing their lives together.
